We see our hero, Jim Hawkins and his mum, along with the Squire and his daughter, as they outwit the dastardly Long John Silver and a host of marauding pirates plus a fully grown parrot, Polly! They board 'The Hispaniola' and set sail for an adventurous voyage, with the added and hilarious plot twist involving the local 'women’s institute'.
